I agree whole heartedly. The 2020 halftime show was the end of an age. We watched it, together, millions of us — as our innocence, perceived and embraced — or not, gleefully bounced, thrashed and slid from our grasp — forever lost to the annals of video taped performances. That performance embodied so very much of sovery many (old) unsung cultural dances from many parts of the globe. It was a spectacular farewell to what we had come to recognize as popular cultural dances. Beautiful and fleeting.

… I hear India is really cookin out the new dance crazes these days. And so they rightly should. The next era of shared dances will be spectacular and miraculous — and only for those who are truly invested in the process of embracing the old as they #MakeItNew again, as all great artists do.
