It IS a good piece. There is truth here …

“People of color drove 95% of Texas’ population growth in 2020, (as a result of the 2020 US Census, Texas gained two congressional seats this year — the only state in the country to do so. And while newcomers to Texas have long voted across the political spectrum, the diverse new influx may well make the political landscape more fluid than it has been in nearly two decades.”

The problem with State Legislatures — all across the nation — is that the ‘good ole boys club’ is gasping it’s last. These aging white men — and the handful of arrogantly ignorant who repeatedly and blindly vote for these creepy crusties — are clinging desperately to something that no longer works.

State Laws — like much of our Constitution — are archaic and FULL of loopholes for the white business holders. This long saga of creating the US economy in ‘their image’ is over. Yes, it’s true — Elvis has left the building.

It’s high time for some fresh blood to be transfused into those crumbling veins of our Democracy. I can see it. CNN’s editors can see it. I’m sure you can too. The future — as long as we #ChooseToParticipate — looks brighter.

This little hiccup with Texas had to happen, so the rest of us could see just how bad it can get.
