Perhaps this global instance will shock us all into living better — more realised versions — of ourselves.

I do know, that it’s no big secret that over 75% of the planet’s population — capitalist society or not — knows better than to run around like a chicken with it’s head cut off, doing what ever — to whom ever — when ever they please. Only the really young and very old live their lives wholly indiscriminate of others. At the core of each of us, there is that kernel of truth that there are consequences for every action and every intention. And luckily for all of us, as our shared reality — this is known as science.

If things get shaken up enough, in the global market sector, perhaps we can all get back to doing the work we should be doing for ourselves and each other. This is if those who participate in the market realise what’s at stake. I think you stated that pretty clearly Umair.

We should all be interested in and investing — in what ever capacity we are able — in things like building better highways and stronger, more reliable modes of communication. We could spend the next decade building products and services that are driven by cleaner, more sustainable or renewable energy choices. We could be rewarding manufacturers and producers whom cultivate reciprocal relationships with the earth and their communities — if we could just tap into that great well of compassion we all have, intrinsically, as a human.

My god, there’s so much work to be done. My suggestion is to wipe the slate clean and move forward. This means our criminal justice system too. Corporal punishment is barbaric and outdated — we can do so much better, and besides that — we all deserve it. I think the truth of it all is just beginning to dawn on us — what have we been waiting for?
