We're getting there, step by step. Eventually, we'll all wake up to the reality that one death from plague or pestilence is death for everyone. We are seeing the truth of this - and being reminded again, of how Pandemics play out. We can get ahead of this, but we will have to recognize mistakes and make an attempt to collectively remember our errors as we go.

We just need reminding that we need to #PracticePresence and #Forgive ourselves and eachother - regularly. Because none of us is perfect. We make mistakes and then we learn from them - that's what we do. We're humans - so complicated, and yet so similar. Once we get comfortable, we let our imaginings of grandeur run away with us. These are our short comings - we forget so quickly. Our stories are essentially the same - we are all beholden to one another, forever and ever - until it's over.

And yes, the handful of executives and their stock holders at the pharma corporations need to release the patents on the vaccines for other countries to develop their own. This would be acknowlwdgement that they are also human beings as we wage war on our lesser selves for our own good - for the greater good. This step is so small and yet, so monumental. There is no amount of earthly treasure that would equate with this one act of realization.

Have a little faith Umair. We are just getting started - again - here. It's familiar territory, we just needed reminding. We're all feeling it, but few of us have the conviction or talent to say it - let alone put it down in words, framing it in a waty that others can read. It's the #truth. (And it usually sucks.) But we do appreciate the reminder Umair. That's why you have so many people (who have had the luxury of learning to read and write) reading and commenting - because it's true. We've work to do yet before this thing is over. Well get through this if we all just #DoWhatYouCan.
