You already are 'better'. Sometimes doing what you can to effect change ends up feeling more like an act of aggression than anything else. I think that's the point of this article. Doing nothing is actually worse than being silent. The time for silence is long past. You know this, and openly admit to your fears of perpetuating a cycle of violence.
